The Music of The Elder Scrolls Franchise (TES 3: Morrowind, TES 4: Oblivion, TES 5: Skyrim & The Elder Scrolls Online) and the Guild Wars Franchise (Guild Wars & Guild Wars 2) feel remarkably similar.
This is because of the man behind the scenes.
The composer Jeremy Soule wrote music for both franchises(all of the titles mentioned above), and a lot more for the gaming industry.
The two franchises share similar atmospheres for certain parts of their world, one example being the Gold Coast of TES 4: Oblivion resembling the atmosphere of Queensdale of Guild Wars 2 (which, in turn, people have noted, resembles the music of Guild Wars 1 Starting area).
